Our story
The Alliance of Northern Development (AND) was born out of necessity. For too long, Northern Nigeria has been defined by poverty, insecurity, underdevelopment, and lack of accountability. Citizens have felt unheard, and communities have been left behind.
In 2025, a group of concerned citizens came together with one question: “How can we move the North from promises to progress?”
The answer was simple but powerful—a movement owned by the people, for the people.
From local government areas to state capitals, from students to professionals, AND has grown into a unifying force, ensuring that every Northerner has a platform to:
- Voice their needs
- Track government performance
- Participate in development agendas
- Contribute to change through donations, skills, and action
